Product roadmap

What we’re building next

ScribeShot is moving from “capture good notes from one video” toward a stronger learning workspace: easier sharing, better organization, active recall, and knowledge that stays useful across your whole library.

Directional, not a release calendar. Priorities can change as we learn from real usage. Once a feature ships, it moves to the changelog.

Also planned

Five directions that expand where and how ScribeShot can be used.

Windows Support

Planned

Bring the local-first ScribeShot workflow beyond macOS with a native Windows release.

Bookmarking Chapters

Planned

Mark important chapters and moments so the parts worth revisiting are immediately visible when you return to a long video.

Multiple Choice Questions

Planned

Generate questions from the most important concepts in each video, with the correct answer and an explanation so revision becomes active recall instead of rereading.

Tagging Videos

Planned

Organize larger libraries with your own tags, then group and filter videos by subject, course, project, or any system that works for you.

Chat with your Notes

Planned

Ask questions across your saved ScribeShot notes, not only the currently open video, so connections across multiple lessons become searchable.

The changelog focuses on the major product milestones rather than every small maintenance build.
