What Knowledge Search looks across
Knowledge Search works across your saved ScribeShot video library. It is designed for the moment when you remember learning something but no longer remember which video or chapter contained it.
Results stay grouped by source video
When several chapters from the same video match, ScribeShot keeps them together under one video result rather than repeating the same video as separate cards. Only the matching chapters are shown, so the result stays compact while preserving the source structure.
Search before rewatching
Use Search as the first retrieval step before reopening a long lesson. A focused result can take you directly to the saved video and chapter that contains the concept you need.
Search and Ask solve different jobs
Use Search when you want to find where something lives. Use Ask Knowledge Base when you want ScribeShot to answer a question using relevant material across the saved library.

Does Knowledge Search search more than the currently open video?
Yes. It searches across the saved ScribeShot video library and groups matching chapters under the relevant videos.
Is this the same as Ask Knowledge Base?
No. Search returns relevant saved material; Ask Knowledge Base uses relevant material from the library to answer a question.
